Pink peppercorns
Location: Southeast Madagascar
Botanical classification: Schinus terebinthifolia (Anacardiaceae family)
Pink peppercorn is a false pepper derived from the fruit of the tree (Schinus Terebenthifolius).
Harvesting takes place when the clusters turn a vibrant pink or red. The berries are then sun-dried and manually sorted.
