Phu Quoc pepper is grown on the island of the same name, located in the Gulf of Thailand which belongs to Vietnam.
This pepper is entirely grown, sorted, and harvested by hand. It is an exceptional pepper because its production is minimal on the island compared to that of Vietnam, one of the world's largest pepper producers.
Phu Quoc red pepper is a fully ripened pepper. It is harvested by hand and then sun-dried.

On the nose, this pepper reveals notes of iodine and tobacco. When crushed, freshness takes over with fruity and floral notes.
